Synfig Studio 1.4.2 for Mac

Synfig Studio is a 2D animation software that uses vectors and standard graphics, thus eliminating the need to create frame animations and allowing you to produce higher quality 2D animations faster and with less resources.

Since all elements are based on vectors, you only need to worry about the visualization resulting from a change in resolution or size when importing images directly into the program (which is very easy to do).

This tool is compatible with different types of layers: geometric, gradients, filters, transformations and more. All of this can be handled from the program interface. That said, more advanced users will be able to take full advantage of all the features on offer.

Synfig Studio is a very complete application that comes with an online user manual (found on the developer’s website). Use it (with a dose of patience) to create your own animations.
