Pencil2D 0.6.6 for Mac – Download

Pencil2D is a multi-format open source tool that lets you draw and paint 2D covers.

The Pencil2D cannot compete with Flash, although the animations are based on basic frames and different levels. Unlike Flash, when using Pencil2D, you have to manually draw each frame of your animation.

Pencil2D lets you create four layers: bitmap layer, vector layer, audio layer and video layer, all of which need their respective elements to create an animation.

The Mac version lets you export your animation to video, something that the Windows version still lacks.
