NHS COVID-19 is a new application released in the United Kingdom. With this application, the Ministry of Health aims to monitor the new wave of the Coronavirus novel. As part of the NHS Test and Trace program, this application has key features that help detect and monitor new cases.

Similar to the Spanish COVID radar, this application is being tested in various communities before its national release. The goal is to make the app available for download across the UK in a matter of weeks, so that it can help monitor the pandemic via Bluetooth.

This app uses a personal password, so you do not need to identify yourself and it will notify you if you have been in contact with a person who has been infected with the virus for more than fifteen minutes. If you receive a notification, the app will advise you on the steps you need to take to protect yourself and others.

NHS COVID-19 will also alert you if you are in an area where several people later tested positive for the virus. With all these features, this app makes it easier for you to protect yourself from COVID-19 and helps the UK slow down the spread of Coronavirus.
