1. Select a trigger.

Trigger is the reason for starting the macro. MacroDroid offers over 70 triggers to start your macro, e.g. location-based trigger (such as GPS, cell towers, etc.), device status actuators (such as battery level, start / close application), sensor activations (such as shaking, light levels, etc.) and connectivity activations (such as Bluetooth, Wifi and Notifications).
Macros can be activated automatically, but it is also possible to create a shortcut on your device home screen or start using the unique and customizable Macrodroid sidebar.

2. Select the actions you want to automate.

MacroDroid can perform over 100 different actions that you would normally do manually. Connect to your Bluetooth or Wifi device, select volume levels, speak text (such as incoming notifications or current time), start a timer, lower your screen, and more.

3. Optional: Configure restrictions.

Restrictions help you let the macro run only when you want it to.
