Smart Tempo makes it easy mixing and matching music and beats without worrying about the initial tempo. Register freely without a click. Easily combine and edit MIDI and audio tracks – from vinyl samples to live instruments to multi-track audio – at a steady or variable rate.

Start your sound with loops
Create songs quickly by selecting from over 7000 included unlicensed apple Loops that are highlighted with keywords and automatically conform to the rhythm and key of your project. You can even use unlabeled loops from other sources and they will play automatically at the tempo of your project.

Couple and toy
Use a variety of on-screen instruments, such as keyboards, guitars and tampons, to play any software instrument Logic Pro X from your iPad.

Monitoring of alternatives
Create alternate versions of a single track or multiple grouped tracks and switch between them at any time to try different options. Create, save and choose from different tracks and site settings to make it easier to experiment with different creative ideas.

Participate in Takes and Quick Swipe
Click and drag to select the best sections of each shot to create a seamless comp, complete with transition smoothing junctions. Save multiple comps and switch between them to choose the one you like best.

Track Stacks

Manage large mixes with Track Bands and VCA faders. Assign any channel selection to a group of tracks, and then check the levels or other parameters of all the tracks in the group from any single channel in the group.

Music Note
Turn MIDI performances into real-time music notation as you play, creating perfectly legible notes even for a performance that may be less than perfect.

Share projects and tracks with AirDrop, Mail Drop, or a complete set of executive export functions. Logic Pro X also supports file transfer protocols such as Final Cut Pro XML and AAF for transferring content between different professional music and video applications.
