Freeplane is a tool that designs and creates mind maps with which you can organize your ideas and easily create complex diagrams.

When creating your diagrams, you will have many possibilities: quick links between concepts, creating new nodes, inserting images and icons, different views (cloud-shaped, classic diagram, etc.) and dozens of formatting options.

Within each of the ideas or tasks you create in the diagram, you will be able to write a more extensive document in which, thanks to a built-in word processor, you will be able to write anything related to this point. This way, you will be able to create a seemingly small diagram that is really loaded with content.

Freeplane is a tool that opens up a lot of possibilities for creating charts, although its not-so-nice interface makes it a bit difficult at first.
