Labels is offline, open source, file management software for computer. Helps organize your files and folders with labels and colors. Organize your photos, documents, music, recipes or invoices with tags in the same way on Windows, macOS, Linux or Android. It has basic file management functions, so it can be used as a simple file manager.

You can assign custom colors to each folder and tag, making visual search an easy step. You can add a custom thumbnail and text description to each file or folder. Unlike most file tagging applications, it does not maintain tags centrally. As a result, additional meta-information is not locked by the vendor.

Labels offers you a convenient user interface to your local file and folders. The JavaScript and HTML5 using the Google Material Design Template. As of version 3, the application provides dark mode and support for UI themes.

Labels products can be used as an alternative to EvernoteNote-taking and web-deleting functions. You can create and edit notes in plain text, markdown or HTML. You can create to-do lists and organize them into a kind of offline personal wiki to keep track of your projects, ideas or memories.

The application supports adding labels to files and folders in a transparent manner, without vendor locking, and supports drag and drop.

Label library with colored labels
You can organize your tags thematically into groups, for example, the “family” tag group may contain tags with the names of your family members, useful for photo tags. Additionally, you can assign different colors to your labels.

Desktop Search
The application supports searching for files at your current location. Can be explicitly searched for specific tags.

Currently, Tag Spaces supports light and dark theme, which can be changed with one click.
