3DMark is a popular one Gambling performance benchmark is used by millions of people, hundreds of hardware rating sites and many of the world’s leading technology companies. Detailed graphs show you how CPU and GPU temperatures, clock speeds, and frame rate changed when the pointer ran. Explore your computer’s performance limits with custom reference settings. You can change the resolution and performance quality in a number of settings. Can your computer handle 4K games? The 4K Ultra HD performance resolution of the Fire Strike Ultra is four times higher than the 1080p resolution used in the Fire Strike. No 4K screen required, but your graphics card must have at least 3 GB of memory to run this extremely demanding reference point. Download now!

It includes everything you need compare your computer and mobile devices in one application. Whether you are playing on a desktop, laptop, laptop or tablet, 3DMark for PC has a benchmark designed for your hardware.

3DMark Basic Edition includes seven reference tests:

Port Royal (NEW!) is the first special benchmark in the world for real-time tracking of players. You can use Port Royal to test and compare the real-time ray detection performance of any graphics card supported by Microsoft DirectX Raytracing. In addition to benchmarking performance, 3DMark Port Royal provides a realistic and practical example of what to expect from ray detection in upcoming games.

Night raid it is one DirectX 12 benchmark for portable computing devices with integrated graphics and low-power platforms supported by Windows 10 in ARM. Run Night Raid 3D Mark 2021 Last to try and compare laptops, notebooks, tablets and the latest computers that are always connected. The test is particularly suitable for DirectX 12 systems that cannot achieve high frame rates at the most demanding Time Spy reference point.

Wildlife is a multi-platform benchmark for Windows, Android and Apple iOS. Use 3DMark Wild Life to test and compare the graphics performance of the latest laptops, tablets and smartphones. Wild Life uses the Vulkan graphics API on Windows PCs and Android devices. On iOS devices, it uses Metal. You can compare benchmarks across all platforms.

Time Spy is a DirectX 12 benchmark test for high-performance gaming PCs running Windows 10. With the pure DirectX 12 engine built from scratch to support new features such as asynchronous computing technology, explicit multifunction and multi-threading, Time Spy is the ideal benchmark for DirectX performance control 12. DirectX 12 benchmark for Windows 10. 2560 × 1440 rendering performance. Includes a demo, graphics tests, and a CPU test.

Time Spy Extreme is a new 4K DirectX 12 reference test available in the Advanced and Professional Editions application. You do not need a 4K screen to run it, but you will need a GPU with at least 4 GB of dedicated memory. With 4K Ultra HD performance resolution, Time Spy Extreme is an ideal benchmark for the latest high-tech graphics cards. The CPU test has been redesigned to allow processors with 8 or more cores to perform to their full potential.

Fire is a DirectX 11 benchmark designed for today’s high performance gaming PCs. It is very demanding, even for the latest graphics cards. If the frame rate is low, use the Sky Diver.

Sky Diver it is one DirectX 11 reference point for gaming laptops and mid-range computers. Use it to compare systems with mainstream graphics cards, mobile GPUs or embedded graphics. It is particularly suitable for systems that can not achieve more than a single digit frame rate in the most demanding Fire Strike test.

Cloud Gate is designed for Windows laptops and standard home computers with integrated graphics. The benchmark uses a DirectX 11 engine limited to level 10 of the Direct3D feature, making it suitable for testing DirectX 10 compatible hardware.

Snowstorm – Use the 3D Mark Ice Storm to basically compare tablets and smartphones. Ice Storm includes two graphics tests to measure GPU performance and a physics test to highlight CPU performance. Ice Storm uses level 9 of the DirectX 11 feature in Windows. On Android and iOS, it uses OpenGL ES 2.0. You can compare scores on different platforms.

Use Extreme Ice Storm to compare low-cost smartphones and tablets that work Android, iOS and Windows. Ice Storm Extreme increases performance resolution from 1280 × 720 to 1920 × 1080 and uses higher quality textures and effects after processing in graphics tests.

Character tests

Overhead API test
Games make thousands of lottery calls per frame, but each generally generates limited performance for the processor. APIs with less overhead can handle more lottery calls and produce richer graphics. With the Overhead API feature test you can compare the performance of Vulkan, DirectX 12 and DirectX 11. See how many lottery calls each API can handle before the frame rate drops below 30 FPS.

Test DirectX Raytracing features
Real-time ray monitoring is incredibly demanding. The latest graphics cards feature special hardware that is optimized for ray detection. The 3DMark DirectX Raytracing test measures the performance of this proprietary material. Instead of using traditional performance techniques, the whole scene is scanned with rays and designed with one pass. The test result depends entirely on the radius detection performance.

Test PCI Express features
PCI Express (PCIe) is a standard interface that provides high-bandwidth communication between devices on your computer. New PCIe 4.0 interfaces provide up to twice the PCIe 3.0 bandwidth. With more bandwidth, games can carry more data, reduce load times and support more complex scenes. The PCI Express feature test measures the bandwidth available on your GPU.

Test VRS features
Variable-Rate Shading (VRS) is a DirectX 12 feature that can improve performance by reducing detail in parts of the frame where it is unlikely to be seen. 3DMark VRS feature testing helps you compare differences in performance and image quality when using VRS Tier 1 and Tier 2. An interactive feature lets you change VRS settings on the go and export frames for comparison.

Test NVIDIA DLSS features
Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) is an NVIDIA RTX technology that uses the power of deep learning and artificial intelligence to improve game performance while maintaining visual quality. The NVIDIA DLSS Feature Test helps you compare performance and image quality using DLSS 2 or DLSS 1. With DLSS 2, you can choose between three quality modes – Quality, Performance and Super Performance.

System requirements

To run Time Spy and Night Raid benchmarks, you need Windows 10, a DirectX 12-supported graphics card, and an SSSE3-supported processor. To run Port Royal, you must have the Windows 10 October 2018 Update (1809) and a graphics card that supports Microsoft DirectX Raytracing. Wild Life requires a Vulkan 1.1 compatible GPU.

DirectX Raytracing Mode Test requires Windows 10 Version 2004 or later and a DirectX 12 compatible graphics card with driver support for DirectX Raytracing Tier 1.1. The PCI Express feature test requires a compatible DirectX 12 graphics card. The VRS feature test requires Windows 10 version 1903 or later and DirectX 12 GPU that supports variable rate shading. NVIDIA DLSS feature control requires a NVIDIA graphics card that supports DLSS.
