The application requires an adapter (device) compatible with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth or Bluetooth 4.0 (Bluetooth LE) OBD2 ELM327. The ELM327 devices plug into the car diagnostic socket and give your phone access to the car diagnostics.
Recommended adapter brands: Kiwi 3, Viecar, V-Gate, Carista, LELink, Veepeak.
If you buy one of the cheap China OBD2 ELM327 adapters from ebay / amazon, make sure it is not labeled v.2.1. These adapters are supported, but have many bugs.

PLEASE NOTE: The vehicle ECUs differ in the amount of sensors supported. This app can not show you something that is not provided by your car.

Beware of “bad” adapters! We have encountered the problem that some adapters (often Chinese massage clones) cannot be connected to a smartphone or car. Some of them can even make your car engine unstable, often lose the connection, increase the time lag when reading data.
Thus, we recommend that you use genuine ELM327 brands or recommended adapter brands.
